How To Succeed
On this page you'll find a number of strategies, hints, and tips to help you improve your marketing efforts. This information will be particularly useful if you're new to affiliate marketing, but it may also be helpful if you're a seasoned affiliate looking for new ideas.
| TIP #1 » Learn, Learn, Learn Some More |
All of the internet marketing gurus I've ever encountered have one thing in common: a voracious appetite for learning. They're always reading and learning so they can stay ahead of the competition. Most high-earning affiliates are also obsessed with learning about new trends and ideas in the world of internet marketing.
Although this concept may seem fairly basic, it's extremely important. If you can dedicate 20-30 minutes a day to reading and learning, you'll quickly become extremely knowledgeable and you'll find it really helps your internet marketing efforts.
To help your ongoing learning process, we've compiled some good learning materials on the Resources & Links page. |

| TIP #2 » Content Is King |
The phrase "content is king" has become commonplace on the internet, and for good reason. The internet is primarily a place where people come to find information, not buy products.
Most likely they'll come across your website, blog, or mailing list looking for free info. It's up to you to give them a little bit of free info, to whet their appetite... and then promote The Handsome Factor once you've caught their attention.
Content has other benefits, too. Search engines like Google reward websites that are education-oriented, so the more information you give away, the better.
There's a ton of ways you can provide content. To begin with, there are Articles, Email Promotions, Author Interviews, and Product Reviews available here in the Handsome Factor Affiliate Zone. You can also develop your own content or use syndicated articles from other sources. |
|
| TIP #3 » Include A Strong "Call To Action" |
As mentioned above, it's important to offer people free content and free information. But there's no free lunch in this world, so you want to finish every article, email promotion, product review, etc with a strong "call to action".
A "call to action" is where you encourage the reader to click on your hoplink and visit The Handsome Factor website. Your call to action should be firm and direct, but polite and genuine. As an example, you might end an article with the following:
"If you're ready to begin your own appearance transformation, click here to visit Mark Belmont's website. Oh, and don't worry: he offers an unconditional money back guarantee, so it's risk-free! To learn more, check out The Handsome Factor website."
You'll notice that this call to action is forceful - "click here to visit Mark's website" - but it's not sleazy or overdramatic.
Remember:
The "call to action" is the most important portion of any promotional content (article, email, review, etc)... it's the part that will end up making you money! |

| TIP #4 » Sell The "Idea," Not The Product |
Most people who buy The Handsome Factor do so on impulse. They don't intend to make a purchase, but when they read The Handsome Factor website, they become excited. They are enamoured with the idea of being a very handsome man, and they think about all of the benefits that are associated with being good-looking.
When you're developing your own marketing strategy, keep this in mind. You want to get people excited, to sell them on the idea of being a stud. Tell them what the benefits of being good-looking are, don't just tell them about the program itself.
In the world of marketing, this is referred to as "selling the benefits, not the features." |
|
| TIP #5 » Pre-Sell To Increase Conversions |
"Pre-selling" is a term used frequently in internet marketing. The idea is simple: you speak highly of The Handsome Factor before you even send them to our website. You explain the benefits of the program and why it will improve their life, and then you finish by giving them a link to our website.
This ensures that the customer lands on The Handsome Factor website already armed with a positive impression of the program. When done effectively, this type of pre-selling can greatly increase the chances of a person buying the program.
The key here is to get the visitor excited about the benefits of the program while maintaining your own sense of impartiality. You are indeed selling them
on a product, but you don't want to make it sound that way. Instead, you want to come across as a "friend" who is providing helpful advice.
One of the best ways to pre-sell The Handsome Factor is with a product review. Be careful not to over-hype the product and appear dishonest. A good product review is one of the best marketing tools available. |
|
| TIP #6 » Harness the Power of Email |
Email promotions are one of the most effective methods of promoting The Handsome Factor. Sending a well-written email to your mailing list can result in dozens of hundreds of sales.
Your email should pre-sell the program and it should get the visitor excited about the benefits of being handsome.
We have compiled some sample promotions on our Email Promotions page. |

| TIP #7 » Know Your Audience |
Always keep in mind what sort of person you're targeting when you're doing any kind of marketing. Tailor your content, writing style, and all other elements of your marketing to this target audience.
In this case, The Handsome Factor's primary target audience is English-speaking men between the ages of 16 and 55. Many of these men are single. Often, they're frustrated with their love lives, and want to improve their appearance in order to attract women.
They may be single, but our experience is that most men who buy The Handsome Factor are not your typical "losers". They're just normal guys who are stuck in a rut or want to make a change to their appearance.
Try to keep this in mind when you write promotions or design a marketing campaign. |
|
| TIP #8 » Always Be Professional |
Regardless of what channel you're using to promote The Handsome Factor, you need to maintain a sense of professionalism. If you're not professional, you'll lose credibility, and people won't read whatever content you're feeding them.
Professionalism entails things like spelling, grammer, website presentation, and so forth. In essense, you are a salesperson trying to convince potential customers to buy a product. They're more likely to buy if they like you and the way you present yourself. |
|
| TIP #9 » Stay Ethical & Honest |
The Handsome Factor is a good product. It really does benefit most of the men who use it, and we stand behind our product. We also honor our refund policy 100% of the time.
Because we pride ourselves on being ethical and being honest, we ask that our affiliates do the same. Keep your marketing efforts legal, ethical, and spam-free. You'll find that this more honest approach to affiliate marketing tends to be more effective, anyway.
Email spam is obviously forbidden, and we don't want to be associated with it. Similarly, spamming forums or message boards is a no-no. For a complete list of do's and dont's, please read over the Affiliate Agreement. |
|
| TIP #10 » Ask For Help When You Need It! |
| We've mentioned it a hundred times before, but we really mean it: we want you to succeed, and we're here to help you. If you need assistance with your marketing or you need more resources, just send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible. |
