Basic Setup Information

Becoming an affiliate of The Handsome Factor is very straightforward. To get started, just follow these simple steps...

STEP 1 » Sign Up At ClickBank.com (Free)

In order to promote The Handsome Factor and earn commissions, you'll need to sign up for an account with ClickBank. ClickBank is an online retailer that brings together vendors (that's us) and affiliates (that's you). ClickBank will automatically track all of your affiliate sales and send you your commission earnings via check.

When you sign up for a free account, you'll be asked to create a unique affiliate nickname. You'll use this "personal ID" to customize your affiliate links and ensure that you are credited with any sales you refer.

(Signing up for an account at ClickBank is completely free and there are no obligations. The signup process takes 2 minutes or less.)

STEP 2 » Set Up Your Affiliate Links

Once your ClickBank account is created, you'll be ready to promote The Handsome Factor and start earning cash.

The next step is to create your ClickBank referral links, also known as "hoplinks". These are the links that you'll use to drive visitors to our website in order to earn commissions.

To do so, replace "AFFILIATE" in the link below with your unique ClickBank username.

» http://AFFILIATE.mbelmont.hop.clickbank.net

If your ClickBank username is "ricky911," for example, your hoplink will be:

» http://ricky911.mbelmont.hop.clickbank.net

When someone clicks on this link, ClickBank will place a special script called a "cookie" into their web browser. If the visitor decides to purchase The Handsome Factor, the "cookie" that's been placed onto this visitor's browser will tell ClickBank to give you the commissions for this customer's purchase.

The ClickBank cookie will remain in a person's web browser for 60 days. That means that you'll receive credit for the sale even if the visitor leaves The Handsome Factor website and returns 59 days later to purchase the program!

Make sure you test your hoplink by clicking your affiliate link and pressing the "order" button at the bottom of The Handsome Factor website. At the very bottom of the order form, you'll see this:

"[affiliate=youraffiliatename]".

Make sure the affiliate name displayed correctly matches your ClickBank username.

STEP 3 » Promote Your Hoplink

Once you've got your Hoplink set up and ready to go, you'll need to spread the word. Place the link on your website, your blog, or send it to your mailing list. This is the tricky part - you need to get lots of people to click on the link if you want to make big money! The resources on this site will help you provide ways to promote The Handsome Factor: articles, product reviews, email newsletters, etc.

If you don't have a website and don't know how to make one, you can still promote The Handsome Factor. We'll set up a "Hoplink Redirect" on our server that will cloak your ClickBank link and allow you to advertise on Google Adwords, etc without your own website. Click here to learn more.
